Together We THRIVE

savings group THRIVEGulu women at meeting

THRIVEGulu’s savings and support groups are working together to heal from the trauma of conflict in Northern Uganda. Groups provide economic, social, and emotional support so that individuals, families, and communities are able to grow and THRIVE.

We work with our groups to provide mental health, basic education, and economic empowerment programs. When you sponsor a group, your monthly or annual gift goes directly into our programs for your group.

Connecting Communities. Sponsoring Growth.

THRIVEGulu currently works with over 1000 Thrivers in and around Gulu, Uganda. Many were abducted as children during the conflict to fight for the LRA. The conflict affected them in some way, including losing family members or being displaced from their homes.

Over 80% of Thrivers are women. Most have no more than primary school education. The average monthly household income is approximately $100, or just over $3 per day.
