We’re excited for our summer intern Amelia to join us!
Amelia has just finished her Junior Year at the University of Massachusetts in Boston, studying Environmental Science with a minor in Classical Studies. She expressed her excitement about THRIVE, saying, “I was lucky enough to be able to make a trip to Uganda in May of 2018, so I was able to see first-hand the changes THRIVE is making in the community.”
After witnessing the good they are doing, Amelia became interested in the process of making those changes happen. She’s hoping to learn how nonprofits work so that she can transfer that knowledge to work opportunities in the future to make a difference in local and international communities.
